Tennis Club

Sedgefield Tennis Club is situated in the village, on the Sedgefield Community College site. We share the courts with the Community College during term time, but have exclusive use of them during Evenings, Weekends and School Holidays (one court may be set aside for Community Association use at certain times).

Sedgefield Tennis Club has its own website which may be found at :

Facilities

We have three floodlit acrylic courts (the preferred surface of the Lawn Tennis Association) and a Clubhouse with changing facilities, which we share with the College. The courts are kept locked when not in use. New members are issued with a key (for a small charge). Joining the club gives you unlimited access to the courts with nothing more to pay (other than occasional floodlight fees).

Playing Schedule, Events and Coaching

During School Holidays, at Weekends and in the Evening (after 6pm), find an opponent, turn up and play.

The following times are earmarked for social play - just turn up and you should get a game if you're prepared to mix in:

Sunday Afternoon - Ladies
Thursday Evening - Men
Sunday Evening - Men

Club Coach, Jon Wrann, runs Junior Coaching on Tuesday and Thursday Evenings for three age/ability groups.
