Mission Accomplished!

Children who had successfully completed this year's summer reading mission were treated to an end of summer party at Sedgefield Library on Wednesday 30th August 2006. The theme was George's Marvellous Medicine performed by renowned local storyteller Eileen Glenton who engaged forty children in concocting a strange looking potion. Legend has it that this potion, when used, can produce some rather unusual effects - including the disappearance of a certain grandma!

After the drama of acting out this famous Roald Dahl story the children enjoyed party games and were then presented with a medal and certificate for completing the reading mission.
