Bishop Middleham, Bradbury, Cornforth, Fishburn, Mordon, Sedgefield & Trimdon

THE SEDGEFIELD EDUCATION FOUNDATION

Bradbury, Fishburn, Mordon & Sedgefield

Both organisations are registered charities and can be traced back to 1630 and 1704 respectively.

The Charities are both relief in need charities and are able to make grants to alleviate hardship and infirmity. They are also able to make grants for further education to students living within the area of benefit.

The Education Foundation makes grants to young students under the age of 25 who are taking courses higher than A-level.

Educational grants are made in October and applications, on a form obtainable from the Clerk, must be made by 30th September. Relief in Need grants may be considered at any time and applications should be made by letter.
